The dozens of mountain lakes and rivers that surround Kimberley provide phenomenal cutthroat, rainbow, and bull trout fishing. These waters offer some of the feistiest fish in the area and with so many options to choose from, it’s rare to come home empty handed.
The St. Mary River is a classic free stone stream which flows gently for some 80 kms before joining the Kootenay River. Anglers consider it to be one of the finest dry fly-fisheries for rainbow, cutthroat and bull trout in North America.
Guided trips are designed to satisfy both beginners and experienced anglers, with float trips on different stretches of the St. Mary River. Fly Fishing is Catch & Release only.
