This small group class will explore the interaction between mobility and stability.
All too often we focus on building stability and strength without understanding how much immobility undermines our goals. Men commonly notice stiffness in areas such as the hips, upper back, and shoulders. Stiffness in these areas affects alignment of the rib cage, pelvis, and spine. Alignment determines your stability, control of movement and ultimately your strength and power.
Join me in the studio to start unravelling this Gordian Knot!
Each session will start with a mobility-focused portion to address those common sticky areas. We will then explore movement patterns that reinforce control through the trunk and spine and freedom of movement in the shoulders and hips.
